Gracias a la labor archivista de Fabian Cosiansi se conserva esta promo que hice para Radio Universidad en 1995, presentando "El monkey monkey" por Los Chiclets. Y gracias a la labor investigativa de José Saravia, la grabación llegó a mis manos. Es la version demo, grabada un año antes a la que formó parte de nuestro primer album (en cassette) "Argh! Burp! Prrr!" Esta versión me gusta mucho mas, creo que en la del disco la arruinamos poniendo esa estúpida parte “Everybody in the house…” porque el productor nos pidió que la alarguemos un poco. Matías Lazzo inventó el riff de guitarra y yo hice el puente y la letra, un poco queriendo emular a Los Telépatas, decidí tocar en ella un órgano sesentoso. Otra canción que recuerdo tratar de emular con este tema es “Sweet 69” de las Babes In Toyland, que me fascinaba.

Thanks to the archive labour of Fabian Cosiansi, this promo I’ve made for Radio Universidad in 1995 introducing Los Chiclets' "El Monkey Monkey" was preserved. And thanks to the research work of José Saravia, the recording got to my hands. It’s the demo version, recorded a year before the one that got to our first (cassette) album "Argh! Burp! Prrr!" I like this version way more, I think we ruined the one in the album by adding that “Everybody in the house...” stupid part, because the producer asked us to make it longer. Matías Lazzo made up the guitar riff and I wrote the bridge and the lyrics, trying to emulate Los Telépatas a bit I played in it a sixties organ. Another song I remember trying to emulate with this one is Sweet 69 by the Babes In Toyland which absolutely fascinated me.
